Foil printing

Types and solutions

Foil printing

The purpose of foil or flexible packaging material is to package the product.

Typically, there are two methods:

  • in one case, the foil is applied to the packaging (e.g. in the case of PET bottles), i.e. the foil is subsequently applied to the product
  • the packaging material is printed, i.e. the packaging itself is printed. This is the case, for example, with vacuum-sealed or gas-sealed products (e.g. sliced salami, chips), but it is also often the case with cosmetic products and cleaning products (e.g. scouring pads).

Both technologies are widely used in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Substantial savings

Save Up to Even Millions

One of the key advantages of our technology is that, while competitors typically use 6–8 colors with expensive printing plates costing HUF 25,000 per color to produce high-quality prints, we achieve the same result using just 4 colors — with plate costs of only HUF 2,500 per color.

This can lead to savings of HUF 150,000–200,000
per product!

If you are launching a new product line (typically 3–5 products), your initial savings could easily exceed HUF 1 million.

And that is just the starting cost — we typically offer better prices on printing as well, while maintaining an even higher quality.

Raw materials

What types of materials can we print on?

We can print on an extremely wide range of materials. With our offset printing press, we can print and laminate in roll format up to 430 mm in width—starting from 12-micron PET and 20-micron BOPP, all the way up to 300-gram cardboard.

In other words, we are capable of printing in photo-quality on virtually any foil or flexible packaging material used today—while maintaining exceptional cost-efficiency.
